We are a couple seeking to learn from those who have gone before us by growing some of our own food, living within our means, and trusting in our Creator.
Jim was born in Albert Lea, MN, and Bernis in Wadena, SK, Canada. Jim dairy farmed with his dad for many years, then branched into carpentry, and now is happy to be back into agriculture growing cold hardy fruit.
Bernis grew up on a mixed farm but got the travel bug early in life and spent nine years doing computer support for mission organizations working with tribal groups in South America. She too is amazingly content to be back on a farm but still makes good use of her computer skills as the head of IT at our webstore HoneyberryUSA.
